I missed regular television so I ditched Netflix, Vudu, and RedBox last night. Guess what was on? The OSCARS! Yay! That's one award show that I truly do enjoy watching. The first one that I ever watched all the way through had Halle Berry's historic win. I remember that win because I remember that dress. It was all about that beautiful mermaid dress for me and I don't remember anything else from that event. I watched the live show from E! It was quite entertaining I must say! I loved the part with the Life of Pi tiger and the hosts' reactions, it was hilarious lol! Anyways, on to the dresses. These were my favorites!

I am not a huge fan of red and gold. I hate that combo and it is the traditional colors for a Bangladeshi bride's sari which makes me hate it even more but DAMN look at Olivia! I literally went "WOW" when I saw her in this beautiful Marchesa gown. Her dark features and complexion makes it stand out even more. I don't think many people would be able to pull it off the way it looks on her amazing body. She looks stunning!

BEST (AND WORST!) | Grammy Awards 2013

I don't really watch award shows let alone aware of when they're on tv. I used to keep up but I was busy watching the last Harry Potter movie cuddled up on the couch =D Normally the next morning after an award show I realize what I had missed and I look through hundreds of pictures of the starlet's fashion choices and makeup. That's what I enjoy the most anyway besides the worst dressed list!

Fall Fashion | 2012 Trends LOVE & HATE

Fall is my favorite season and this fall 2012 is FILLED with things I love and some I don't. Thankfully, I have collected pieces throughout the years that will work with seasons on. I just have to learn to shop in my own closet, mix and match,  maybe buy an accessory or two and taadaa the recessionista in me has been dragged out! It works. No one I know buys a new wardrobe every single season and no one should feel pressured to just to be "cool". Don't go crazy now there's no reason to follow EVERY single trend. Just know what's in style at the moment and incorporate your own style and piece the the old with the new.  

Can't spend a dime...but I still have eyes!

I used to hate it when I was younger.

I thought it made me look fobby so I stayed away from it haha. 

FASHION FORWARD

I've been lusting these for spring this year! Trust that I will get a version of them in due time. I've never made a layout before and I never realized how long it took to create one. It looks easy but I was browsing for hours and hours looking for just what I wanted. Then I got lost because I started liking too many items. I kept the theme fresh and light. Enjoy!
