OVERALL THOUGHTS
I love face masks. For a grease monkey like myself, mud masks help pull out impurities and help with oil control. I'm a sucker for anything with the label "shine free" or anything that caters to oily skin. Normally I don't start with negatives but this is very minor so I just thought I'd get it out of the way! When you first open the tube, open it over a sink. It will pour out mudy water and make a mess. After that the rest is smooth sailing! I just apply a thin layer all over my face with my fingers and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
One great thing that I liked about this mask was its consistency. For a mud mask it was a lot more watery than other mud masks I've tried. It glides very easily over the skin and feels smooth. There are no exfoliating properties in it. It goes on an olive color and dries to a light gray-olive. After drying you see tiny little holes all over where the pores are prominent. I like to wash it off with warm water and my skin is left radiant, smooth, and matte. It feels very smooth to the touch as well. It is also affordable, under $10 at Target. I have not seen Boots anywhere else but Target in the states. Besides the runny water in the beginning I have nothing bad to say about this face mask!
