Product Claims
"Revolutionary heat-activated formula wraps each strand to seal in longer-lasting straightness without weighing hair down. Protects against heat damage and blocks frizz. Keeps hair glossy, smooth, and swinging with body"
Let's get one thing straight, I don't have curly hair. So why use this? I have random curls and wiggly waves that don't like to stay straight even after I use a flat iron. I love that fresh sleek -just straightened- look but I only get it for a few mins right after I straighten it! I got this product in my J'Dore VoxBox and honestly it was the last thing I tried. I even tested the men's Vaseline spray before this. I have straight hair and I've used one of John Freida's Frizz Ease straightening sprays years before. I liked it a lot, my mom took it, then I forgot about it. I remember it working fine but it was a bit sticky like hair spray. Oh how I marked this NEW product guilty by association! I shouldn't have because this spray is freakn fantastic!
\\\ DAY 1
I blow dry hair straight and iron the bottom half. I spray the bottom half only because there's no need for me to straighten the top of my hair. After the day is done (which was 10 hrs at work might I add), my hair is still smooth and straight..hmm...not bad, not bad at all. It also didn't get super tangly like usual. I didn't use any detangler and I used my fingers to comb through it during break. I suppose the keratin in the products helps with that.
\\\ DAY 2
I slept in a high ponytail so the ends don't get bent up. In the morning all I straightened were the kinks left over by the hair elastic at the crown of my head. Everything else looked like I had just straightened it.
\\\ DAY 3
Again I slept in a high ponytail so the ends don't get bent. I straightened the kinds around the crown and just a few pieces around my face. Barely any but honestly they didn't even need straightening. It was by impluse.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
I would say this was one of the simplest products I have reviewed. All I had to do was spray it in my hair and that's it! I blow dried and styled as usual and waited for it to hold up to its claim. This product kept my hair smooth and straight for 3 whole days. No gimmicks here! It is an affordable product that you can find in most drugstores and big chain retailers.
For the pictures I put my hair to the side so the layers are uneven. I split my damp hair down the middle and do 6 sprays on each side. 3 on the inside 3 on the outside. Depending on how thick and curly your hair is you might have to spray more. Comb through it and dry hair as usual. It says to use this product on wet or damp hair. There was no sticky residue at all and just felt like nice dried hair. It has no weight to it. It kept the frizz down and was silky enough but nothing like Chi's Silk Infusion. I didn't notice the shine but I guess I did have more shine than normal for second and third day hair. For the sample that I received it was a pump spray. I noticed that the actual product has one of those weird handles to spray with. In my experience, no hair product with that kind of spray handle has been a comfortable hold. It just has a strange grip to it. Other than the design of the bottle the product itself works great!
Have you tried this? What's your favorite aid in straghtening your hair?
