It was love at first swipe. I love this bright coral shade Luna. It is very pigmented (as a lip lacquer should be!). It completely covered my natural lip color in one single swipe. A second swipe just makes the color appear even brighter. Absolutely love how full coverage it is. It has the quality of a high end gloss/lacquer. The application is with a doe foot applicator and the packaging looks pretty cute too. The top looks like a rock or gemstone.
The formula is very smooth and light. It didn't even feel like I had anything on my lips but at the same time it did not provide any extra moisture. The lip lacquer didn't dry out my lips either. It appears nice and glossy at first but within 15 minutes it settles to a semi-matte finish. I actually really like the finish a lot I just wish it would last longer. They are marketed as long lasting liquid lip products. To me a long lasting product should stay on for at least 8 hours to last through a busy regular workday. After about an 1.5 hours it looked like I needed to reapply because it faded.
There are currently 14 shades available. These are also known as Apocalips across the seas. I believe they will be a part of Rimmel London's permanent collection. For some reason they have only been spotted at Walgreens. Let's hope that is not the case because they are beautiful! I will definitely purchase more shades.
